ITan Sun Spray Spa presents its 2011 iMan Event at Hard Rock Hotel in Downtown San Diego
For the second year in a row, iTAN presents the annual event with Homefront San Diego as its beneficiary

SAN DIEGO, CA, June 24, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As votes come rolling in, San Diego's bronzed beauty counterparts are ready for their chance to take home the honor of iMAN 2011. iTAN Sun Spray Spa, the premier tanning salon and spa with 24 locations throughout San Diego and the Inland Empire, will host the 2011 iMAN Event on July 9th at 207 in the Hard Rock Hotel.

The iMAN 2011 finalists are being chosen by public votes on iTAN's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/iTANSunSpraySpa) during an online contest being held throughout the entire month of June.

For every entry the iMAN Contest receives, iTAN plans to donate $5 to local charity, Homefront San Diego. As the beneficiary for the second year in a row, Homefront San Diego is a local non-profit military organization which supports military families in need.

"We were so honored to be able to support Homefront San Diego with proceeds from last year's competition, that we wanted to continue our efforts with the 2011 iMAN Competition," said Faraje Kharsa, CEO of iTAN Sun Spray Spa.

According to iTAN Sun Spray Spa's website, "The iMAN Competition recognizes confident guys who are proud to be toned and tan. The ideal iMAN is loyal to the iTAN brand and seeks to promote active and healthy living throughout Southern California."

On July 9th, the men will compete for the title of iMAN 2011, and a package of prizes consisting of:

• $1,000 cash for iTAN modeling portfolio
• Complimentary iTAN services for a year
• A gift basket with prizes from featured sponsors
• iMAN photo shoot images featured in iTAN advertising and promotions
• Appearances at iTAN partner and sponsored events

The Saturday evening event will be hosted at 207 in the Hard Rock Hotel Downtown and will also feature an hour-long hosted bar from 7 to 8 p.m., a Q&A portion and stylish runway walk with all finalists. The event will also feature performances by both the San Diego Charger Girls and burlesque dance group, The Lollipop Girls.

Judging this year's iMAN event is: Jennifer Bock, Miss iTAN 2011 Winner; Aimee Cochran, iTAN Sun Spray Spa Franchisee; and a San Diego Charger Girl.
