Jacksonville Plastic Surgery Office Adds a New Partner
A local cosmetic surgery office, Desai Center of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, adds a new partner.
JACKSONVILLE, FL, July 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Ankit Desai is proud to announce he has added a new partner to his practice in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Michael Fallucco specializes in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery as well as hand and peripheral nerve surgery.
Dr. Fallucco received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Chemistry. He received his Medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. As a medical student, Dr. Fallucco received a grant to travel to Mexico for a surgical mission. It was this experience that fueled his interest in pursuing a career in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
After receiving a very competitive residency at Saint Louis University, Dr. Fallucco was recognized for both his clinical and research skills, leading to an invite to present his research in plastic surgery. He has published his research in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, The American Surgery Journal, as well as The Canadian Journal of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Fallucco was also one of very few nominees for "The Caring Physician Award" at Saint Louis University, recognizing his outstanding dedication to patients and families.
